TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on October 4, 2001. Said ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof.
“AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF ORDINANCE SUMMARIES”
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes 7-157 (b) the Town of East Windsor may provide that a summary of any ordinance enacted at a Town Meeting may be published in lieu of publishing the entire ordinance.
In any case in which a summary is published, the Town Clerk shall make a copy of the ordinance available for public inspection and, upon request, shall mail a copy of such ordinance to any person requesting a copy at no charge to such person.
Any summary so published shall bear a disclaimer as follows: “This document is prepared for the benefit of the public, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation. This document does not represent the intent of the legislative body of the Town of East Windsor for any purpose”.
Any ordinance which makes or requires an appropriation shall be published in its entirety and shall not be published in summary fashion.
