NOTE:   ALL LEGAL NOTICES WILL BE POSTED IN THE JOURNAL INQUIRER.

The Planning and Zoning Commission regularly meets on the second Tuesday of every month for Regular Meetings and the fourth Tuesday for Working Sessions. The Commission consists of five regular members and three alternates who are appointed by the Board of Selectmen to serve five year staggered terms. Commission members elect their own officers every October.

The Commission reviews and acts on applications for commercial and residential development as well as proposed changes to the Plan of Development and Zoning Regulations. From time to time the Commission also proposes changes to the zoning map or regulations to provide for greater consistency with the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development.

The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission is staffed through the Planning and Zoning Department. Copies of the zoning regulations, subdivision regulations, and plan of development are available for purchase at the Planning and Zoning Department office at Town Hall. Commission application forms, bylaws, procedures and checklists are also available. Copies of the regulations are also available for review at the office or at the Warehouse Point and Broad Brook Libraries.
