Waiving Property Tax refunds

TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR

The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on October 28, 1999. Said ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof.

“ ORDINANCE WAIVING PROPERTY TAX REFUNDS IN AN AMOUNT LESS THAN FIVE DOLLARS”

In accordance with Connecticut General Statutes Section 12-129

BE IT ENACTED:

To authorize the Tax Collector to retain payments of property tax in excess of the amount due from any person, firm or corporation in an amount less than five ($5.00) dollars, commencing with the property tax list of October 1, 1998.
