TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on March 2, 1978 and shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the publication thereof:
Ordinance Amending Ordinance Establishing Organization For Civil Preparedness
BE IT ORDAINED, the ordinance adopted at Town Meeting on April 3, 1974, entitled Ordinance Establishing Organization for Civil Preparedness, is hereby amended by deletion of the following sentence: “The Selectmen of the Town of East Windsor shall appoint the director and also appoint members of the advisory council.” In place thereof, the following sentence shall be included: “The Chief Executive Officer of the Town of East Windsor, the First Selectman, shall appoint the director and shall also appoint members of the advisory council.”
In all other aspects, the Ordinance Establishing Organization for Civil Preparedness is ratified and confirmed.
