TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
LEGAL NOTICE

The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting, duly warned and held on October 14, 1976.

ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE ENTITLED
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE CONSERVATION COMMISSION FOR THE
TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR

BE IT ORDAINED:

The Ordinance entitled Ordinance Establishing the Conservation Commission for the Town of East Windsor adopted in Special Town Meeting May 23, 1972 is hereby amended by deleting the second sentence in its entirety and substituting the following sentence as follows:

The Commission shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of East Windsor. Of the two (2) members added by this amendment one (1) shall serve for a term of one (1) year which shall expire October 1, 1977, and one (1) shall serve for a two (2) year term which shall expire October 1, 1978. Thereafter each added member shall be appointed for a term of five (5) years.  All other members’ terms shall be for five (5) years.

In all other respects the Ordinance adopted May 23, 1972 is ratified and confirmed.

The foregoing Ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after publication thereof in a newspaper having a circulation in the Town of East Windsor.
