LEGAL NOTICE

The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on May 23, 1972

Ordinance Establishing Conservation Commission FOR
THE TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR

BE IT ORDAINED: that the Town of East Windsor, as provided under the provisions of Section 7-131A, of the Connecticut General Statutes, establish a Conservation Commission for the development, conservation, supervision and regulation of natural resources, including water resources within the Town of East Windsor.  The Commission shall consist of five (5) members, appointed by the Board of Selectmen of the Town of East Windsor; two members of the commission shall serve for a period of two years, two members of the commission shall serve for a period of three years; and one member of the commission shall serve for a period of four years, and thereafter, each new member shall be appointed for a term of five years.  The Selectmen may remove any member for cause and may fill any vacancy.
Duties of the Commission are set forth in Section 7-131A, and any amendment thereto.
The foregoing ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after the publication thereof in a newspaper having circulation in East Windsor.
