AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION
The Town of East Windsor in Special Town Meeting convened hereby ordains and enacts:
To amend Section 3 of the Ordinance establishing a Park and Recreation Commission for the Town of East Windsor as follows:
3. On or before March 1, 1964, the chief executive authority of the Town shall appoint five (5) members to serve until October 1, 1965. Beginning October 1, 1965, the chief executive authority of the Town shall appoint one (1) member of said Commission to serve for a term of one (1) year from October 1, 1965, one (1) member of said Commission to serve for a term of two (2) years from October 1, 1965, one (1) member of said Commission to serve for a term of three (3) years from October 1, 1965, one (1) member of said Commission to serve for a term of four (4) years from October 1, 1965, one (1) member of said Commission to serve for a term of five (5) years from
October 1, 1965; and thereafter each new member shall be appointed for a term of five (5) years from the first day of October in his or her year of appointment. The appointing authority shall designate the member to be chairman of said Commission.
This Amendment shall become effective fifteen (15) days after publication thereof in a newspaper having a circulation in the Town of East Windsor.
