TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
The following ordinance was adopted at a Special Town Meeting duly warned and held on May 15, 2003.
“Ordinance Concerning the Adoption of Fees for Building Permits”
BE IT ORDAINED by the legislative body of the Town of East Windsor that, pursuant to the authority vested in the Building Code for the State of Connecticut adopted pursuant to Section 29-252 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended, the following schedule of fees for the issuance of building permits is adopted:
Ordinance 89-1 is repealed, and this Ordinance is substituted in lieu thereof.
$20.16 for the first $1,000.00 of proposed construction cost and $15.16 for each $1,000.00 (or part thereof) of construction cost thereafter; provided, however, that, no fee shall be less than $20.16. All such fees shall be paid to the Building Department immediately upon approval of a building permit application, and before the commencement of any work to be performed pursuant thereto.
Said ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days from publication thereof.
